• Why is the widget connecting to the internet?
Most of the gaming widgets have a built in high scores system. You must be connected to the internet in order for this to work. No private information is collected: only the name you enter into the widget, your score, and IP address (to prevent abuse) will be recorded.
• When I launch the widget a Macromedia Flash Player Security message appears, but clicking on the settings button does nothing.
In order for the game widgets to work properly, you must change your Flash plugin settings to allow the game to connect to our online high scores system. If you have not yet done this, that error window will popup after you launch a widget.
To change these settings visit this Macromedia support page. Your Flash Global Security Settings will be displayed. You can either select "Always Allow" or add "www.chrismarks.com" to the trusted locations list by selecting "Add location..." under the "Edit locations..." drop down menu.
